Why DKS203-M24?
Overview

01
Three times 8K60 via DisplayPort 1.4
Operate three DisplayPort 1.4 monitors with up to 8K@60Hz oder 4K@144Hz je Output. Integrated EDID emulators keep the display information available for each computer.

02
TESmart's proprietary DP-1.4 EDID technology
TESmart's DP-1.4 EDID emulation keeps display settings stable during switching. It reduces resolution changes, shifted icons, flickering, and re-detection of the display – even with high bandwidth and three displays.

03
Two display modes: use both PCs simultaneously
The DKS203-M24 offers a shared mode for one PC across all monitors and an independent mode for assigning displays. Select the PC for each monitor using the right Ctrl key and switch keyboard/mouse control using the right Alt key.

Frequently asked questions
You can find further answers in our Help Center.
[Compatibility] Which devices does the DKS203-M24 support?
The DKS203-M24 connects two DisplayPort computers to three DP monitors. Each computer requires three DP cables and one USB-B cable. Both PCs are operated with one keyboard and mouse.
[Compatibility] Does the DKS203-M24 support HDR and VRR?
Yes. The DKS203-M24 supports HDR and VRR passthrough via DP 1.4. Both the display and GPU must support and have these features enabled. TESmart support is available to assist you with any issues.
[Compatibility] Does the DKS203-M24 support G-Sync and FreeSync?
Yes. The DKS203-M24 supports NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync via passthrough for smooth, tear-free, and stutter-free visuals. The display must support the respective technology, and it must be enabled on the GPU.
[Compatibility] Which one fits: DKS203-M24, DKS202-M24 or DKS403-M24?
The DKS203-M24 is suitable for two PCs and three DP 1.4 monitors. For two monitors, choose the DKS202-M24 or DKS202-MC24, which offers cross-PC mouse control and file copying via SmartClip. For up to four PCs and three monitors, choose the DKS403-M24.
[Compatibility] What is the maximum supported resolution?
The DKS203-M24 supports three times 8K@60Hz mit DSC. Each output also has 4K@165Hz mit DSC, 4K@144Hz, QHD@240Hz und 1080p@240Hz Possible, also 32:9 ultrawide at 120 Hz and 21:9 at 144 Hz. Actual output depends on computer, display, cables, and display mode.
[Functions] Which display modes does the DKS203-M24 support?
Two display modes are available.
Mode 1 displays a PC across all three monitors – as an extended or mirrored desktop.
Mode 2 distributes the two PCs across the three monitors. Pressing the right Alt key twice switches between keyboard and mouse controls, while both systems remain visible.
[Functions] What does EDID emulation do?
Each input has an EDID emulator. When switching between inputs, each PC still recognizes the display as connected. This helps to preserve icons and window positions, and prevents resizing and flickering.
[Connections] Why is there no sound coming from the 3.5 mm audio jack?
The KVM switch features an integrated microphone and stereo audio connection. Audio is transmitted via USB. In your computer's sound settings, select the "USB Audio" playback channel.
[Functions] Can USB and audio remain connected to a computer when switching between devices?
Yes. Deactivate Follow Mode using a hotkey. USB 3.0 devices and audio will remain connected to the selected computer while you switch displays, keyboard, or mouse. With Follow Mode deactivated, audio and USB can also be switched separately using a hotkey.
[Switch] How do I switch between connected devices?
The DKS203-M24 offers four switching methods: a button on the device, an IR remote control, keyboard hotkeys, and a mouse wheel. First, activate the mouse wheel switching function, which is disabled by default, using a hotkey. A double-click of the mouse wheel will then switch to the next computer.
[Furnishings] Do I need to install drivers or software?
The DKS203-M24 works via plug-and-play: Display switching, as well as keyboard and mouse, require no additional software. Some devices with additional functions still require their own drivers.
[Furnishings] Does the DKS203-M24 support keyboard hotkeys?
Yes. Connect a compatible wired USB keyboard to the designated keyboard port. Hotkeys may not work with Bluetooth keyboards, USB hubs, or some wireless receivers. By default, you press the right Ctrl key twice, followed by the Command key.
[Switch] What to do if the right Ctrl key conflicts with other key combinations?
The DKS203-M24 allows you to select a custom hotkey trigger. By default, it is the right Ctrl key.
Method 1: After switching on the device, press and hold the button for 10 seconds until a long beep sounds. Within 5 seconds, press the desired button.
Method 2: Right Ctrl → Right Ctrl → F1, then press the desired key within 5 seconds.
[Functions] What are Pass-Through Mode and Legacy Emulation Mode?
Pass-through mode is recommended for most modern keyboards and mice and supports many additional functions. In case of problems, legacy emulation mode improves basic keyboard, mouse, and hotkey compatibility. However, some software-dependent additional functions will then be unavailable.
