What is TESmart ID?
Your TESmart ID is your shared account for TESmart offers and services. It is automatically created with your email address when you place an order or register. After email confirmation, you can take advantage of warranty, recycling and trade-in programs, trial programs, and exclusive promotions.
How does recycling & trade-in work?
- Submit device information and required photos for online evaluation.
- After approval, return the device with tracking and provide the tracking number.
- Once the shipment is on its way, TESmart can pay out the released value as shop credit or, if eligible, as a refund on a recent order and reimburse eligible shipping costs based on the receipt.
- The final inspection takes place after the device has been received.
Which products are eligible?
KVM switches, KVM extenders, and matrix products. Accessories such as cables, remote controls, and power supplies are excluded.
How much is my old device worth?
The value depends on the purchase price, age, and condition. The following serve as a guideline:
- Up to 50% within 3 years
- Up to 40% within 4 years
- Up to 30% within 5 years
- Devices over 5 years old: free recycling
The final value will be determined after the evaluation.
How does return shipping work?
Please return the device with tracking. Prepaid return labels are not currently provided; you may need to pay shipping costs upfront. Once the shipment is en route, a credit note and refund of eligible shipping costs can be initiated. Final inspection will take place upon receipt of the device.
Can I also participate if I purchase outside the official shop?
Yes, devices purchased through authorized sales channels such as the official TESmart Amazon shop or certified resellers are eligible with a valid proof of purchase. After verification, the released value will be credited to your TESmart ID.
Do I need a TESmart ID?
Yes. Recycling and trade-in are available for activated TESmart IDs. The account is created automatically upon ordering or registration and is activated via email confirmation.
What happens if you are not entitled to a credit?
Devices not eligible for a credit can still be recycled free of charge.
Where do I see my account and credit?
Log in to your TESmart account to view credits, shop balances and order history.
Can I delete my TESmart ID?
Contact customer service to request account deletion. Unused benefits will expire and are non-refundable.
