What is TESmart ID?

Your TESmart ID is your central account within the TESmart ecosystem. It is automatically created when you order or subscribe using your email address. After email confirmation, you will have access to all benefits, including warranty, environmental recycling/trade-in, trial programs, and exclusive offers.
How does environmental recycling work?

The procedure is as follows:

  • Submission of device information and required photos for online evaluation
  • Return of the device after approval with a trackable tracking number.
  • Once the shipment is shown as en route, TESmart will credit the approved recovery value (as store credit or – if eligible – as a refund for a current order) and refund the shipping costs based on your receipt.
  • The final inspection takes place after receipt of goods.
Which products are eligible?

The following are eligible to participate:

  • KVM switches
  • KVM extender
  • Matrix Products

Accessories such as cables, remote controls or power supplies are excluded.
How much is my old device worth?

The recovery value is based on the actual purchase price paid, the age of the device, and its condition. Guideline values:

  • Up to 50% within 3 years
  • Up to 40% within 4 years
  • Up to 30% within 5 years
  • Devices older than 5 years are recycled free of charge.

The final value will be determined after the evaluation.
How does return shipping work?

Please return the device using a trackable shipping service.

  • Currently, no prepaid return labels are provided; you will initially have to bear the shipping costs yourself.
  • Once the shipment is considered to be in transit, the credit for the recovery value and the shipping cost reimbursement can be processed.
  • The final inspection takes place after receipt of the device.
I didn't buy from the official shop - can I still participate?

Yes. Purchases made through authorized sales channels are eligible with a valid proof of purchase. After successful verification, the corresponding buyback value will be credited to your TESmart ID.
Do I need a TESmart ID?

Yes. Environmental recycling and trade-in are only available to activated TESmart ID users.
What happens if my device doesn't qualify?

Non-qualified devices will continue to be recycled free of charge in an environmentally friendly manner.
Where can I view my account?

Log in with your TESmart ID to view your balance and order history.
Can I delete my TESmart ID?

Yes. You can contact customer service to delete your account. Unused benefits will expire and will not be refunded.
