Why HDK402-M24?
Overview

01
Stable signals with twice 8K60
ADV7674 HDMI 2.1 decoding and EDID emulation support stable connections in demanding dual-display setups. This technology reduces interruptions caused by black screens, resets, and display failures.

02
Two display modes for focused or parallel work
Use both monitors with one computer, either extended or mirrored. Alternatively, display two systems side by side and switch the keyboard/mouse controls while keeping both visible.

03
Two times 4K144 HDR with variable refresh rate
Compatible gaming displays use twice 4K@120Hz mit 12-bit HDR or up to 4K@144Hz/165Hz via DSC. VRR, FVA and ALLM reduce tearing and latency, provided the graphics card, display and cable support these features.

[Compatibility] Does the KVM support Dolby Vision?
Yes. The HDK402-M24 supports Dolby Vision. The source, content, displays, and cables must also support and have it enabled.
[Compatibility] Is my Adaptive-Sync monitor compatible?
Yes. The HDK402-M24 supports HDMI 2.1 VRR and is compatible with G-Sync and FreeSync. The source, displays, and cables must support the selected function.
[Functions] How can I use the two monitors?
Display one computer across both monitors, either extended or mirrored. Alternatively, each monitor can display one computer. Extending and mirroring are configured on the source computer.
[Functions] What does EDID emulation do?
Display information remains available during switching. This reduces flickering, resolution resets, and shifted windows and desktop icons.
[Functions] How do I switch USB devices or audio independently?
Switch to the desired computer and press the USB or audio lock button. Pressing it again unlocks the connection. Keyboard/mouse ports cannot be locked; video remains switchable.
[Connections] Why doesn't Wi-Fi work after connecting the KVM?
The computer may prefer the integrated network adapter. Pressing right Ctrl twice and then F4 disables it for the selected computer. Alternatively, disable "Realtek USB GbE Family Controller" in the operating system.
[Functions] What to do if the fan is noisy?
Older firmware can maintain high fan speeds under high load or temperature. TESmart support offers suitable, optimized firmware with adjusted temperature thresholds and additional fan modes.
[Connections] Why isn't my audio device working?
Check the computer's USB-A to USB-B connection. Select "USB Audio" for 3.5 mm audio or the appropriate USB audio device. If there is still no analog output, test a USB sound card.
[Functions] Are firmware updates possible?
Yes. Updates can fix problems or improve compatibility. Only install firmware for the HDK402-M24. TESmart support provides the appropriate file and instructions.
[Furnishings] Why aren't the keyboard and mouse working properly?
If the hotkeys are working, press right Ctrl twice and then F2 for Legacy Emulation Mode. If there is no response or problems persist, contact TESmart support.
[Switch] How do I switch between computers?
Via control panel, IR remote control, hotkeys, or mouse wheel. The mouse wheel function is disabled by default and must first be activated.
[Functions] How do I adjust the fan?
Press right Ctrl twice, then F3. Standard firmware offers Off, High, and Auto; Auto is the default. Optimized firmware adds a fourth fan mode.
[Furnishings] Why aren't the keyboard and mouse working properly?
